According to Armin Brott, a spokesman for the Men’s Health Network, “The purpose of Men’s Health Month is to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys. Men’s Health Month is celebrated across the country with screenings, health fairs, media appearances, and other health education and outreach activities.”
The Mayo Clinic states that fibromyalgia is musculoskeletal pain that is spread throughout the body causing fatigue, mood, sleep and memory problems. Research indicates that the disease affects the way the brain processes pain signals, causing pain sensations to feel worse. There is no cure for this disorder; however there are home remedies to reduce the resulting symptoms, including hot tub therapy.
